Earth Day Reading

I’ll be celebrating Earth Day, April 22, 2016, with a reading from my book and discussion of beauty at the Kitimat Museum & Archives. Come by at 7:30 p.m. and join the festivities!

I recently saw a Ted Talk on PBS featuring artist Zaria Forman. She draws large scale pastels of icebergs and ocean waves. The drawings depict the earth’s shifting landscape and the effects of climate change. Her work is awe-inspiring, purpose driven and beautiful. In this video, the artist shares the inspiration behind her work. Enjoy!
